ZixPort now allows you to set up Message Signing to digitally sign your outgoing notification messages using Domain Keys Identified Mail (DKIM). DKIM is an email sender authentication standard that can reduce phishing and spam by authenticating the sender’s domain. DKIM uses public key cryptography to digitally sign messages. The public key is retrieved using DNS and is used to verify the sender’s digital signature.
Note: | If you use a custom URL for your secure portal and own the DNS for the domain, you must make a change to your DNS to enable DKIM Message Signing. |
