Policy Sets

Policy sets allow you to build a set of policies recommended for your organization based on your industry. Selecting options on the Policy Set screen creates a number of policies depending on the options you select. Both keyword and content filter policies can be created.

Keywords

Adding a keyword policy allows your users to manually trigger encryption by placing a keyword of your choosing in the Subject line of their emails. The default keyword is zixencrypt, but can be set to a different keyword.

Content Filters

Selecting content filters create encryption filters based on different regulations like FERPA, GLBA, HIPAA, or profanity filters, depending on your industry. The different industries are selected by the Industry radio buttons. Selecting an industry presets different regulations and creates a policy for each regulation.

Delivery Method

The delivery method controls whether or not TLS is allowed.
