You must apply the ZixGateway patches to all your appliances. Each patch will require a minimum version to run.
Patches run on each ZixGateway appliance in your network. The update process preserves the existing ZixGateway configurations and policies. The time the patching process takes may vary depending on how much data you have and your appliance configuration.
The patch update notifies you of any missing requirements. Contact Customer Support at support@zixcorp.com for assistance.
You must have WinSCP or a similar product to upload the update file from your Windows system to your ZixGateway appliance. You can download and install a copy of WinSCP from http://winscp.net/eng/download.php.
Preparing to update:
Check for the required ZixGateway version by typing the following when prompted:
cat /.installversion
During a patch update, you will:
