Configuring the Server

The server configuration is managed from the Configure Server screen. You can change the cluster without leaving the screen by using the Cluster drop down box. This screen has four secondary screens containing ZixGateway parameters that can be set:

Configuring the mail relay and other ZixGateway parameters is the most detailed aspect of setting up a ZixGateway cluster. Most of these parameters have default settings that you can accept to quickly get ZixGateway up and running.

ZixCorp recommends that you initially set only those parameters that are required. You can always tune the performance and behavior of your appliances later by modifying the optional and defaulted parameters.
