ZixGateway employs several types of policies that share many characteristics that are discussed in this section. For more detailed information and examples of each policy type, see the related section:
Content patterns are an important and powerful feature of ZixGateway. A content pattern describes how the ZixGateway appliance searches the Subject line, Body text, and Attachment content of any message that it handles.
This capability can be applied to any of the policy types mentioned above. Content patterns are created in the same way for all policy types, using the Glossary and Binding dialog.
