Setting Encryption Policies

To set encryption policies:

  1. On the Status tab, select a cluster.
  2. Select Manage Policies > Encryption.
  3. Create a new policy in the Configure an Encryption Policy area.
  1. Enter a description policy name in the Label field.
  2. Click the From field to expand it and enter the address of the sender.

  3. Click the To field to expand it and enter the address of the recipients.

  4. Create or select any glossary entries you want to associate with the policy by clicking the button.
    See Creating Content Patterns or Specifying the Search Scope for information.
  5. Enter one or more attachment File Types, or extensions, for which you want this policy to apply.
  6. Select the Send Options that will be affected by this policy.
  7. Select the methods that will be used to send this message in the Delivery Method row.
  8. Select Yes or No in the Request Receipt drop-down.
    If you select Yes, the receiving ZixGateway or ZixCorp client sends a receipt to the sender of a ZixGateway message.
  9. Click Apply.

    The policy appears in the Encryption Policies for Cluster list.
